Geographical Characteristics

The geographical structure of the area of  Paleros  presents a variety.

It concludes: coasts, salt-swamps, lowlands areas, forests, mountains, lakes.

In Paleros is the mountain Sereka (1171m.), which is one of the biggest mountains of the Acarnanian mountains and there are also other big and small mountains.

It is also very interesting to watch the coasts towards the Ionian, the lagoon between Plaeros & Lefkas, the salt-swamps and the lake "Voulkaria".
